Japan has always been my dream trip. I think it started with my first Nintendo DS. Mario, Mario Kart and Mario Party with all my friends, then Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Black, filling my Pokédex and making memories I still carry with me. Then I discovered Naruto and became addicted to anime. Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan… Japan slowly became a huge part of my life. I remember trying Issey Miyake for the first time and falling in love with that Japanese yuzu scent. Today I even carry a Japanese-style tattoo sleeve on my arm, as a reminder of how much this culture means to me. One day I’ll walk through Shibuya, visit the worlds of Mario and Pokémon, ride the Shinkansen, eat real Japanese food, explore temples and experience a thousand things I’ve only seen on a screen.
